Now that we are getting settled into the school routine, I am finally starting to get some motivation to scrapbook again. Of course, I am still distracted by reading, knitting, and guilty pleasure TV on Netflix, but I am making some progress. I got excited thinking I had my youngest son's album caught up, but in truth I simply finished with the prints I had for his album, which date back to April of this year. I am about two layouts shy of reaching the same point with the older son's album. Then I can tackle the first half of my 2010 album, minus the Disney trip. I'm not sure why that is such a daunting project for me; maybe because it's the first time I'm doing a full album of one event.
The further behind I get in my scrapbooking, the more I'm starting to think about making the switch to digital scrapbooking. I have no experience with it, but I get the feeling it's a little easier to stay on top of things. For now, though, I'm still fairly attached to my pretty papers and toys.
With all my distractions, I still have managed to get a few pages done in the past week. I even used some old supplies in the process.
